Global distribution system Amadeus on Tuesday announced it had upgraded ACE Rent A Car Reservations and Payless Car Rental System to the Amadeus Complete Access Plus plateau, the highest level of GDS connectivity for car rental reservations. "This solution gives travel agents the ability to increase the number of car rental bookings in the most efficient way possible," said Glenn Dean, director of Amadeus' travel services and leisure. Complete Access Plus is said to provide agents with seamless access to real-time information and full pricing, which allows them to more accurately quote prices. By the end of 2007, Amadeus will have 22 car rental providers under Complete Access Plus. (DE)
