American Eagle Launches Two New Nonstop Routes

Devil's Millhopper Geological State Park, GainesvilleRinging with the new month on October 1, American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, launched nonstop service between Miami and Gainesville, Florida, as well as a direct route betwen and New York's LaGuardia and Minneapolis. The new service includes four daily flights between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV), two from Miami and two from Gainesville. From Miami, Flight 4992 departs at 11:15 a.m. to arrive at 12:50 p.m. Then, Flight 4995 departs at 8:20 p.m. to arrive at 9:55 p.m. From Gainesville, Flight 4991 departs at 7:45 a.m. to arrive at 9:20 a.m. Later, Flight 4996 departs at 1:20 p.m. to arrive at 2:55 p.m. All service on this route operates on a 64-seat Super ATR aircraft.

Service from New York LaGuardia to Minneapolis includes eight daily flights between New York LaGuardia International Airport (LGA) and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), four from New York and four from Minneapolis. From LaGuardia, morning service departs on Flight 4590 at 6:15 a.m. to arrive at 8:10 a.m. and then on Flight 4591 at 9:35 a.m. to arrive at 11:40 a.m. In the afternoon, Flight 4588 departs at 2:30 p.m. to arrive at 4:35 p.m., and Flight 4649 departs at 6:45 p.m. to arrive at 8:45 p.m.

From Minneapolis, service departs on Flight 4590 at 6:30 a.m. to arrive 10:15 a.m., and Flight 4586 departs at 8:45 a.m. and arrives at 12:25 p.m. Then, Flight 4592 departs at 12:15 p.m. to arrive at 4 p.m., and Flight 4589 departs at 5:05 p.m. to arrive at 8:55 p.m. All service on this route operates on a CRJ-700 jet aircraft.
