American Airlines filed an application with the U.S. Department of Transportation to operate daily nonstop service between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Beijing, China, starting March 25, 2007. American plans to serve the route with its 245-seat Boeing 777 aircraft in three-class configuration. American said the new Beijing service will complement its existing flights to Shanghai from its Chicago hub.
