American Offers New Routes, More Agent Access

Travel agents with both business and leisure travelers headed to the New York area will appreciate two new flight routings, started on Monday by American Eagle, American Airlines' regional affiliate. American Eagle will now offer daily service from New York's LaGuardia to Pittsburgh and from JFK to BWI (Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport). Separately, American Airlines has inked a new five-year deal with Worldspan, and starting Aug. 1, travel agents will be able to access American's comprehensive published fares, inventory, and availability and also new features yet to be announced.
