ARC reported a solid 10.5 percent month-to-month gain in total sales for January 2011. Credit card sales jumped by 10.3 percent while cash sales appreciated by 12.3 percent.
Domestic fares rose by 8.2 percent and international fares went up by 12.2 percent.
ARC said 193 carriers reported along with more than 14,000 retail locations. Satellite STP locations totaled 733 while ARC reported 1,255 VTC (verified) locations. Average daily sales per calendar month hit $12,695.
