In a new partnership, Club Med will introduce the characters from the public television series, "Raggs," to Club Med Sandpiper Bay, when the Florida resort re-opens December 17. From their special clubhouse, the show's five colorful canines from the musical and educational preschool series will welcome and interact with younger guests with fun and educational programs during their vacation.
With over 200 original rock & roll songs, 195 television episodes and 4,000 live concerts, the award-winning series' characters have also appeared at The White House four times. At Sandpiper Bay, they will engage guests with "Wag & Wiggle" dance sessions and programs focusing on the five senses, character lunches and interactive live shows.
Other experiences targeted at children at the new Kidz Village include junior tennis, golf and sailing, as well as circus school, Le Petit Chef cooking lessons and Zumbatomic. At the resort, the Baby Welcome Program provides parents with highchairs, cribs, strollers, bottle warmers and bathtubs among other things. Other kid-friendly features include new children's facilities and accommodations featuring different room categories, including Deluxe Family rooms with two separate bedrooms.
