Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Expands

This June, construction began on a $740 million expansion project at Mohegan Sun, the massive entertainment, gaming, and meeting destination in Uncasville, CT. Travel Agent was onsite recently when Mohegan Sun's executives updated the media on the progress of the plan, dubbed "Project Horizon."

The tower will also include a 15,300-square-foot House of Blues Music Hall with a capacity for 1,500 people, a 20,000-square foot Mandara Spa, more than 115,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, a Kids Quest II child care center and a new gaming area—the 64,000-square-foot Casino of the Wind.
