Continental Airlines on May 2 announced that it had inaugurated the first-ever nonstop flight between the airline's New York hub and Greater Moncton International Airport in New Brunswick, Canada. Moncton becomes the ninth city served in Canada by Continental Airlines. The daily flight will depart Newark at 6:30 p.m., arriving in Moncton at 9:34 p.m. The return flight will depart Moncton at 6:35 a.m., arriving at 7:40 a.m. Continental Express is operating the flight, utilizing a 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 regional jet.
