Continental Takes Off for Greece

Continental Airlines on Thursday inaugurates daily nonstop service between its hub at Newark Liberty International Airport and Athens, Greece. The flights will carry 25 passengers in business class and 149 in economy on 174-seat Boeing 767-200ER aircraft. Flight CO104 departs Newark at 5:30 p.m., arriving in Athens at 10:20 a.m. the next day. Return flight CO105 departs Athens at 12:20 p.m. and arrives in Newark at 4:30 p.m. the same day. Continental's new service will adjust for seasonal demand: In November and December, the frequency of service will be reduced to five flights weekly and in January and February, four flights weekly.
