Delta and Porsche Add Gate-to-Gate Transfers in Three Cities (VIDEO)

Delta has recently announced that three of its major air hubs -- Detroit’s Metropolitan Airport, New York’s LaGuardia Airport, and Seattle’s Seattle-Tacoma International Airport -- will join other key transfer ports (such as those in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New York-JFK) in providing exclusive SkyMiles Diamond Medallion Miles customers with a gate-to-gate transfer service via Porsche

Although Porsches cannot be requested in advance, a fleet of 19 vehicles is available to assist high-status customers in between flights. According to Delta’s Elite Services Team, the “surprise element” of the service makes it more appealing to fliers by treating them to an unexpected bonus.
