Delta Air Lines and Northwest Airlines pilots have approved, by vote, a joint collective bargaining agreement. Delta's pilots union released the results in a memo issued Monday. Over 61 percent of Delta pilots and nearly 87 percent of Northwest pilots voted in favor of the new agreement.
The vote was a crucial step in the approval process regarding the proposed merger between the two airlines.
