Enterprise President Named to Forbes Top 100 List

Pamela Nicholson, president of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, has been named to Forbes’The 100 Most Powerful Women” rankings.

Ranked #88, Nicholson, who has graced in the list in prior years, was cited for “kick-starting the fledgling California group, taking it from a 1,000-car operation to a fleet of nearly 30,000.” She is also credited with turning around Enterprise’s New York operations in the late ‘90s.

Enterprise has done well in the award-winning arena lately. BusinessWeek magazine named Enterprise as one of the “50 Best Places To Launch A Career” for the third year in a row based on compensation, rapid advancement and best training programs.

The Princeton Review calls Enterprise “one of the nation’s best companies… the chance for advancement and a solid, well-nurtured sense of community combine to make Enterprise a great place to begin your working life and build a career,” says the publication, which ranked companies based on employee satisfaction and engagement, compensation, diversity of tasks and other criteria.
