Island Air Expands Hawaii Routes

Honolulu-based Island Air is expanding its route system this spring, increasing the variety of nonstop flights it operates between Neighbor Islands. Beginning April 2, the carrier will provide one nonstop roundtrip flight a day between Kahului, Maui (OGG) and Lanai City (LNY). On June 1 Island Air will link Kapalua West Maui Airport (JHM) with Lihue, Kauai (LIH) by way of one nonstop roundtrip flight a day. The carrier has opened bookings for both new flights and is offering introductory fares starting at $69 per person one way.
