Jet Airways' Second New York-India Flight to Debut

Jet Airways is set to launch its second daily flight between New York and India on October 28. The first was launched August 5, between New Jersey's Newark Liberty International Airport and India. This second flight will fly from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. Both flights are routed through Brussels International Airport and use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with a three-class configuration. Founder and Chairman Naresh Goyal hopes that by 2010, the airline will be among the top five rated airlines in the world. "We have been working on these transatlantic plans for more than two years," he said, "and having changed the way people fly in India, we are now taking to the world our very own brand of service and style that bespeaks the spirit of New India."
