Lufthansa has announced a new route between Munich and the Uzbek city of Taschkent.
The new route will be flown for Lufthansa by a Boeing 737 operated by the Swiss carrier, PrivatAir, seating 24 passengers in Business Class and 84 in Economy Class.
Taschkent, the largest city in Uzbekistan, has a population of about two million. Germany is one of Uzbekistan’s principal import partners and an important export partner. Tashkent is also a key staging post for trips on the Silk Road.
The round-trip from Munich to Tashkent can be booked in Economy Class from approximately $775. The price includes all taxes, fees and the Lufthansa Ticket Service Charge on flights booked online at www.lufthansa.com.
