New Flights, Expanded Service to St. Thomas

US Airways recently committed to launching weekly nonstop service from Boston’s Logan International Airport to St. Thomas’ Cyril E. King Airport. The new route will operate Saturdays from December 19 through April 23 using the A319 aircraft. Flights are available for sale at www.USAirways.com and all other US Airways ticketing outlets.

In related news, Delta Air Lines is adding nonstop service to the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport in St. Croix in addition to the Cyril E. King Airport in St. Thomas, commencing later this year. Flights to St. Croix will now depart daily from Atlanta (up from four flights per week), while service to St. Thomas increases with up to four flights daily and 26 flights per week). Delta will also provide daily service to St. Thomas from JFK Airport in New York.

In June, American Airlines shared plans to increase service to St. Croix from seven to 10 flights per week from Miami.
