The Hertz Corporation is expanding their ongoing exclusive partnership with AAA to provide both Dollar Rent A Car and Thrifty Car Rental rentals to AAA members, offering extensive discounts.
"We've enjoyed a long and successful partnership with AAA, and this extension will provide price-sensitive travelers an expanded car rental offering when renting through AAA,” comments Mark P. Frissora, the Hertz chairman and chief executive officer, “the addition of Dollar and Thrifty to our AAA program is also a key element of our integration strategy to generate partnership-driven revenue synergies with our new Brands."
The two companies have been affiliates for more than 35 years, and customers will now have access to a suite of value added products and services, in addition to cheaper rentals, such as GPS and SIRUS XM satellite radio discounts, plus no charge for additional qualified AAA drivers.
