United Mileage Plus announced today that members will now be able to use their frequent flier miles to book hotel rooms and rent cars, in addition to booking flights.
Although car rentals will be restricted to the United States and Canada, Mileage Plus Members can use their miles on hotels worldwide. Last-minute booking fees for award tickets have also been eliminated for members, in addition to having no blackout dates on United itineraries.
