Traveling to Antigua and Barbuda got easier this week with the official launch of New York City-to-Antigua service from Caribbean Airlines.

The airline celebrated the launch of the new service with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Terminal 4 of John F. Kennedy Airport in New York.

“The launch of the Caribbean Airlines service helps to increase our seat capacity and provides greater access from some of our major gateways," said John Maginley, Antigua and Barbuda tourism minister. "As the U.S. economy continues to improve, we have seen a steady increase in bookings and, as a result, we will be better prepared to tap into this market potential."
