Orient-Express Announces Launch of New Central European Route

Orient-Express this week said its Venice Simplon-Orient-Express (VSOE) line would in July 2007 inaugurate a new seven-night tour to Central Europe. The "Krakow and the High Tatras" tour will visit five countries, with three nights spend onboard and overnight stopovers in Vienna, Krakow (for two nights) and Warsaw. Off-train tours will take place in Slovakia's Spissky Hard Castle, the Royal Palace and Chopin Museum in Warsaw, and a tour of Krakow with a dinner in the city's salt mines. A spokeswoman for Orient-Express said the company was in part seeking to capitalize on the current high level of interest in the region, and also to offer a new route for repeat guests. Costs will begin from $7,280 per person; Prague extensions are available. Call 866-674-3689 or visit [www.orient-express.com].
