Report: Winter Storm Causes Major Flight Cancellations in Denver

A winter storm has caused the cancellation of more than 270 flights into and out of Denver International Airport, CBS4 Denver reports.

Major airlines affected by the storm are as follows:

United Airlines- 150 cancellations
United Express- 35 cancellations
Frontier Airlines- 38 cancellations
Southwest Airlines- 60 cancellations
American Airlines- 1 cancellation
US Airways- 2 cancellations

Snow began falling after 7 p.m. Denver time on Thursday, February 2, and the heaviest precipitation is expected to fall through midday today, February 3.
