Singapore Airlines on Monday officially debuted its new Airbus A380, featuring the ultimate in luxury: first class cabin suites. Tucked behind a privacy panel, Singapore Airlines' 12 suites, created by yacht designer Jean-Jacques Coste, feature fully adjustable seats and flat beds, though it should be noted that these two are not one and the same. The standalone bed is a mattress covered in duvets and cushions designed by Givenchy. Seats offer in-seat power supply and entertainment systems, in addition to the 23-inch LCD TVs mounted on the walls of each suite. These personal spaces also include a chaise lounge, mood lighting, luggage stowage space and a personal closet. Guests choose when to eat meals prepared by the likes of Gordon Ramsay, Matt Moran and Sam Leong and enjoy in-flight amenities provided by Ferragamo. The aircraft will make its first passenger flight on October 25. Visit [www.singaporeair.com]. (JM)
