Air France KLM and other members of the SkyTeam alliance have received a statement of objections from the European Union's competition authority, according to Air France KLM, which said it would respond this autumn to the anti-competitive charges. The EU has been reviewing the SkyTeam Alliance since its 2000 launch. Originally, the scope of the investigation was focused on Aeromexico, Air France, Alitalia, CSA Czech Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Korean Air, but was extended when Continental, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Northwest Airlines joined the alliance in September 2004.
