Southwest Airlines Expands Service to Denver

As many airlines continue to see rapidly declining rates of air travel, several “bargain airlines” like JetBlue and Southwest Airlines have stepped up to fill the gap with increased schedules.

Following its expansion of flights to New York earlier this year, Southwest Airlines announced that it will now offer service between Denver and Boston Logan, Spokane, and Reno/Tahoe.  This new service is currently available for travel beginning January 10, 2010.

"We are connecting our fastest growing city, Denver, to our newest destination, Boston Logan, as well as adding two new travel options from Denver to the west with Reno/Tahoe and Spokane," said Executive Vice President of Strategy and Planning Bob Jordan.
