Jena Tesse Fox just returned from a week in Europe, from Italy to Switzerland, where she toured historic cities for some fine dining, shopping and culture via train travel on Rail Europe.
On the first day, she enjoyed the boutique shops and the Duomo, among other things, in the Italian city of Milan.
From there, she rode the Frecciarossa line to Florence, and still had plenty to report despite the unforunate lack of access to see Michelangelo's David.
After leaving Italy, she traveled to the lake town of Lugano in Switzerland, where she hiked Monte Generoso, among other activities.
On her last stop, Jena visited Locarno and Lavaertezzo, where she experienced first hand how locals and tourists keep cool during the hot summer.
We're happy to report she avoided that unfortunate train accident in Switzerland, and are glad to have her back in one piece.
