United Airlines' April 2013 Traffic Drops Compared With April 2012

united airlinesUnited Airlines (UAL) said its April 2013 consolidated traffic (revenue passenger miles) dropped by 3.8 percent from the same period a year ago.

Consolidated capacity (available seat miles) also decreased 2.6 percent versus April 2012.

In addition, United's April 2013 load factor was down 1 point, compared to April 2012.

UAL's April 2013 consolidated passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) is estimated to be between flat and down 1 percent compared to April 2012.
