United Airlines' April 2013 Traffic Drops Compared With April 2012

United Airlines (UAL) said its April 2013 consolidated traffic (revenue passenger miles) dropped by 3.8 percent from the same period a year ago.

Consolidated capacity (available seat miles) also decreased 2.6 percent versus April 2012.

In addition, United's April 2013 load factor was down 1 point, compared to April 2012.

UAL's April 2013 consolidated passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) is estimated to be between flat and down 1 percent compared to April 2012.
