United Airlines to Increase Summer Flights to China

United Airlines has announced that it will be operating additional flights to Shanghai and Chegdu, China, from San Francisco during the peak summer season.

Current daily flights to Shanghai will increase to twice-daily service between May 6, and October 24, 2015. United will operate the flights with a 269-seat Boeing 777-200 aircraft (comprised of eight flat-bed seats in United Global First, 40 flat-bed seats in United Business First, 221 seats in United Economy, including 104 Economy Plus extra legroom seats).

An increase from the three-times weekly schedule to daily service to Chengdu will take place between June 1 and September 1, 2015. These trips will be made with a 219-seat Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner model (comprised of 36 United Business First seats, and 183 United Economy seats, including 70 Economy Plus extra-legroom seats).
