Parker Ranch 4th of July Races and Rodeo

The vast cultural events and activities on Hawaii Island in June and July make it the ideal place to be. Here's a sample of upcoming events your clients might be interested in.

King Kamehameha Day in Hilo

Celebrate King Kamehameha Day in Hilo on Tuesday, June 11 with an all-day festival at Mokuola, Coconut Island. The event starts at 9 a.m. and the closing ceremony starts at 4:30 p.m. with hula, music, food, and crafts.

Parker Ranch 4th of July Races and Rodeo

Parker Ranch Rodeo Arena in Waimea comes alive with horse races and a rodeo, a Fabulous Fourth. See all the traditional and Hawaii-only rodeo events for adults and keiki (kids). A terrific spectator event held at the Parker Ranch Rodeo Grounds in Waimea. It takes place Thursday, July 4 from 9 a.m. until noon.

33rd Annual Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Cultural Festival

The popular cultural festival returns to the summit of Kilauea on Saturday, July 13 at the Kahua Hula overlooking Halemaumau Crater, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will feature cultural demonstrations, ono food, Hawaiian music, hula and more. Park entrance is free all day.

Big Island Hawaiian Music Festival

Enjoy authentic Hawaiian music - including ukulele, slack key and steel guitar - and falsetto singing at this always popular two-day event featuring artists from around Hawaii. The event is wwo days, Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14 at the Hilo Civic Auditorium from noon - 6 p.m. each day.
