Las Vegas’s McCarran Airport is to receive CLEAR’s Biometric identity verification. CLEAR members use their biometrics (fingerprint and iris) to verify their identity, which makes for a speedier security screening at major US airports across the country. At all of its locations, CLEAR services are closely integrated with TSA's Pre-Check. Typical CLEAR members get through airport checkpoints in less than 5 minutes.
The system is already available at ten U.S. airports including San Francisco, Houston Bush and Orlando airports. CLEAR expects to launch dedicated members-only security lanes and enrollment kiosks in three of McCarran's checkpoints in mid-August 2014.

CLEAR membership is only $179 a year for unlimited use. Members can add their spouse or partner for an additional $50, and children under 18 are always free (no CLEAR card required) through the CLEAR lane. Military and corporate discounts are also available.
