Hakkasan at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino is making all the preparations for the four-day celebration in honor of its Grand Opening. To call the Hakkasan Las Vegas a nightclub would probably be an understatement. Created by global restaurant brand, Hakkasan Ltd., and its partners at Angel Management Group, Hakkasan Las Vegas features modern Cantonese cuisine in a restaurant that doubles as a five-level nightclub.
While the Grand Opening of Hakkasan is scheduled for Thursday, April 25 through Sunday, April 28, the festivities will actually span three weekends including an exclusive Preview weekend the weekend preceding the Grand Opening, and MGM Grand’s Mayweather vs. Guerrero Fight Weekend the one following it.
Adding to the excitement, the weekend line-ups will include the premiere performances by Hakkasan’s resident DJs, Tiesto and Calvin Harris. Other featured artists who are scheduled to perform (in alphabetical order) include: Bingo Players, deadmau5, Hardwell, Laidback Luke, R3hab, Steve Aoki and Tommy Trash. The highlight of the calendar of events will be a star-studded affair on Saturday, April 27, hosted in partnership with GQ Magazine, and featuring a full set from Calvin Harris.
Hakkasan Restaurant is scheduled to open Friday, May 3. Beginning Wednesday, April 10, the restaurant will start taking reservations. The restaurant will be open nightly for dinner Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight. The nightclub will be open Thursday through Sunday 10 p.m. until closing. Guests at the nightclub must be 21 years or older. Cover charges and table reservations will vary.
