December is shaping up to be a big month in Las Vegas for luxury travelers. You are probably already in the know about CityCenter's much-chattered-about debut. Now, in an effort to lure more luxury clients, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is scheduled to unveil its new luxury HRH Tower on December 28.

The hotel has been undergoing a $750 million expansion since 2007. When the project concludes the hotel will have its own VIP entrance and check-in, a 25,000-square-foot Reliquary spa and Vanity nightclub. The Tower will include 359 suites, eight spa villas and seven penthouse suites. This is all part of the same expansion that included the recent opening of Paradise Tower, a new 17-story guest wing.

A "standard" suite includes a wet bar, sitting area and suite bathroom with cast iron tubs. Each suite has a Sound Matters Sound Bar, a touch panel music system with iPod dock and over 2,000 Hard Rock Hotel-owned songs.

The entire renovation will be completed in the spring of 2010 but guests can book rooms for the HRH Tower, which officially opens December 28, along with Reliquary Spa and vanity night club. And just in time for New Year's, rates are starting at $119 per night.
