SLS Las Vegas to Make its Debut

SLSVegas’s newest resort, the SLS Las Vegas, will open its doors at midnight tonight. The $415 million renovation of the former Sahara Hotel is one of the first major resorts to open in Vegas in several years. The SBE property will be the hospitality company’s largest hotel to date.

The 1,600 room property will be spread across three towers –World, Story and Lux’. A select collection of the high-end suites were designed by Lenny Kravitz and his company Kravitz Design Inc. 

The hotel will offer a range of culinary options including José Andrés’ Bazaar Meat, a carnivorous reinvention of his famed restaurant The Bazaar the Mediterranean escape Cleo; Katsuya by Starck; 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria; breakfast spot, The Griddle Cafe and Umami Burger, Beer Garden & Sports Book, featuring an outdoor patio and a sports book operated by William Hill. The property also introduces all-new concepts like Ku Noodle, a casual Asian eatery also by Andrés, The SLS Buffet and The Perq.

Night owls will enjoy one of the SLS’s three nightlife offerings: LiFe, a 20,000-sqaure-foot club featuring a rooftop pool and emerging DJ talent, Foxtail which will have an open format music, celebrity appearances and an adjoining Pool Club and The Sayers, the second location of the LA originated live music venue. 

SLS Las Vegas will also have a variety of onsite entertainment experiences including a 60,000-square-foot casino floor featuring nearly 800 slot machines, a 10,000-square-foot Fred Segal shopping experience and the Ciel Spa.
