Top Pools for This Year's Las Vegas Pool Party Season (SLIDESHOW)

Las Vegas has become a popular destination for pool parties over the past few years, and has transformed regularly to include new amenities and upgrades. Following is a roundup of pool parties in the Vegas area that are available for booking for the summer (or earlier in some cases) as well as other pools that are just plain cool:

Operating as two venues in one, Drai's Beach Club • Nightclub offers panoramic partying on The Cromwell's rooftop, 11 stories up. In the daytime, the rooftop pool deck includes multiple pool areas and towering palm trees. After dark, the beachy hangout turns into a pulsating nighttime destination, where guests can party throughout the entire indoor and outdoor space. The latest DJ talents provide music and entertainment.

Wet Republic at MGM Grand comprises large saltwater pools, intimate dipping pools, daybeds, banquets, tricked-out bungalows and party cabanas. The adult pool destination has an open-air covered lounge serving as a place to mix, mingle, dance and dine. Savory culinary offerings, signature cocktails, premium bottle and pitcher service can be enjoyed in the lounge or ordered poolside. The venue also offers a dedicated valet for guests. For entertainment, a collection of new and returning DJ stars will take over the turntables throughout the summer.

The Cosmopolitan’s Marquee Dayclub has three stories of pool bungalows and cabanas complete with private infinity pools and two island bars. On the rooftop party deck, top international house-music DJs perform for residents. The stage at Boulevard Pool gives the feeling of an open-air theater where new artists and top names in music perform live concerts. Each of the Bamboo Pool’s 10 private cabanas has its own flatscreen TV, minibar, sectional sofa, ceiling fan and mister.

Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at the hotel’s Paradise Pool can serve up to 7,000 guests on Sundays during the spring and summer. Tahitian-style poolside bungalows are available. Rehab also welcomes world-renowned DJs to perform. At Nirvana (formerly HRH Beach Club) guests can drift on over to the Poolside Palapa at Nirvana and play some blackjack at the water's edge.

TAO Beach at the Venetian Hotel has a live DJ performing the latest dance and club hits. Guests can enjoy day beds, lounge chairs, and cabanas complete with air-conditioning, access to Wi-Fi, bars, flat-screen TVs, and video game consoles at the resort.

If your clients are just looking for a cool pool to relax in, there are numerous other options, such as:

The LINQ Hotel’s brand new pool affords views of the High Roller and has a misting system around the entire pool deck to help keep everyone cool. The main pool will feature first-come / first-served open seating and a wet deck where guests can rent one of four lily pad daybeds, while the second pool will be accessed by a standalone elevated deck with tables available for rent. Guests who book a cabana will have their own team of hosts and waitresses.

Mandalay Bay has a sand-and-surf beach complete with a lazy river ride and a jogging track. It also hosts a popular Beach Concert Series and beachgoers can also try their luck at blackjack in the Beachside Casino.

Encore Beach Club at the Wynn Las Vegas provides guests with private cabanas, furnished with flatscreen TVs and refrigerators. The club also offers bungalows that are air-conditioned and have separate bathrooms.

Guests lounging at Bellagio’s five luxury pools can ask for an in-cabana massage in one of the luxury cabanas that include a private dressing area, misting system, music systems and HD TV. Nintendo Wii and iPads are also available. Guests seeking a more serene experience can opt for the Cypress Pool.

The Mirage offers poolside pampering at its adults-only, lose-the-tanline “toptional” Bare Pool Lounge. Already open for the season, VIP services include chilled cucumbers for the eyes, iced towels rolled in flavored water, frozen fruit skewers and icy popsicles, plus DJ-spun music.

The private outdoor pool and whirlpool at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas are open daily with seasonal closures during the cooler months. The newly refreshed, lushly landscaped pool deck includes chaise longues, available on a first come, first served basis. Private cabanas are available for full day rentals. Light meals and smoothies are served poolside, with attendants offering complimentary Evian spritz, fresh fruit and chilled water.
