Travellers can start the day off with some culture at Denver Art Museum. The museum is a must-see for art aficionados; check out one of the largest collections of Native American art in the U.S. or the Rocky Mountain-inspired Frederic C. Hamilton building. Hint: Guests can receive free entry on the first Saturday of every month

Next up, history buffs should check out the Colorado State Capitol building. This neoclassical government property sits above Capitol Hill. Topped off with a dome comprising of more than 200 ounces of real gold, this majestic landmark, built in 1894, is modelled after the U.S. Capitol.

Finish the day off with a stroll along 16th Street Mall, a pedestrian-friendly, and tree-lined promenade. After dark, visitors should wander down the light-canopied Larimer Square, with its chef-driven eateries and a range of bars and clubs which gives the square a vibrant buzz.

Day Two: Visitors should take a car, taxi or book a sightseeing tour to explore some of the nearby attractions.

Take a trip to Colorado City Park, home to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and Denver Zoo, which houses a selection of rare animals including Komodo dragons and black rhinos.

The Denver Botanic Gardens offers the opportunity to unwind without even having to leave the city. The afternoon can be spent rambling through one of the 45 different gardens (some 33,000 plants) including the Mordecai Children's Garden or Japanese garden.

The park also plays host to a Summer Concert Series featuring blues king, BB king and country powerhouse Sheryl Crow.

Visitors can cool off with a tour of the Coors Brewery, the biggest single-site brewer in the world.  Guests can learn about the malting, brewing and packaging processes followed by a sample of Coors products

Conclude the day with a concert at the Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre, the only naturally-occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheatre in the world. Red Rocks combines a world famous outdoor venue with the rugged landscapes of the Rockies. Nature lovers can check out the views on the hiking and biking trails whilst music lovers are kept busy in performer’s hall of fame.
