Variety Cruises has announced two special promotions for its Costa Rica and Panama programs on seven winter 2017/18 departures. The cruise line is promoting the opportunity to explore Costa Rica and Panama with a private yacht experience at specially reduced rates.
The first offer includes a 40 percent reduction on official rates in double occupancy, no single supplement for single travelers, plus 50 percent off for Variety Members and double the referral rewards.
The second offer includes special rates for group travel. With a minimum of six paying cabins, the group will get one free cabin, a 40 percent reduction on official rates in double occupancy cabins, no supplement for single travelers, and wine and fruit in each stateroom on embarkation.
The two promotions are available for a limited number of cabins on departures for Dec. 30, Jan. 6, 13, 20, 27, and Feb. 3, 17. Departures on Dec. 30 and Feb. 17 start and end in Colon, not in Panama City, and will include the special experience of the Panama Canal transit.
The two offers are available for sailings on the M/S Panorama, a three-masted ship that accommodates up to 49 passengers in 24 cabins, where guests can enjoy an intimate small-ship setting that strikes a balance between conventional cruising and private yachting. The M/S Panorama also possesses a two-to-one- passenger to crew ratio.
Variety Cruises’ voyages to the coastline of Costa Rica and Panama included visits to the historical San Lorenzo Spanish Forts, snorkeling excursions in the small island of Restingue, and exploration of Darien National Park, where guests will be welcomed by the Embera Indians, one of the seven indigenous groups living in Panama.
