Travel Agent was on the scene at Island Destinations' 30th anniversary gala at New York City's St. Regis Hotel.
At the event the company unveiled its 2014 Travelers Collection of 125 resorts and villas. The event was the first of 13 for luxury travel professionals in the U.S. and Canada to share details of Island Destinations' portfolio and promote the company's newest division, ID Ultimate Itineraries - Asia.

Notable additions to the company's 2014 portfolio include: NIZUC Resort & Spa on the Mexican Caribbean, Mukul Beach, Golf & Spa (Nicaragua); Coppola Resorts, Blancaneaux Lodge & Turtle Inn (Belize); Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort, Spa & Casino (Aruba); Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve (Puerto Rico); and Seven Stars Resort (Turks & Caicos).
The company's new division, ID Ultimate Itineraries - Asia, will specialize in high-end Southeast Asia itineraries. Gregg Geoghegan will lead the new division, whose excursions include ballooning over the temples of Bagan, Myanmar, a private temple dinner at Angkor Wat and meetings with archaeologists, scholars and artists.
With the recent launch of www.idtravelgroup.com, agents can view a full listing of hotels in the ID Portfolio via an interactive map and pre-register for a new full-service booking engine, which will debut soon.
