Wyndham Adds Deerfield Beach, Fla., Property

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has expanded into Florida with the addition of the 172-room Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort along the Atlantic coast in Deerfield Beach.

Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort, owned by Chase Enterprises of Hartford, Conn., recently completed a major multi-million dollar renovation that modernized the property’s public spaces and guest rooms, business center, fitness center, gift shop and meeting space. The hotel formerly was the Howard Johnson Plaza for the past 40 years.

The hotel lobby offers views of the Atlantic Ocean through glass walls, modern furniture, a flat-screen television, and an elaborate, mother-of-pearl mosaic wall. Complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access is available in the lobby and throughout the hotel’s public spaces.

Each of the hotel’s newly transformed guest rooms are appointed with contemporary designs including espresso-colored, wood furniture accented with zebra wood, a Tatami-style rug on the tile floor and floor-to-ceiling windows in oceanfront rooms, providing views of the beach.

Accommodations also include 37-inch, flat-screen televisions, complimentary wired and wireless high-speed Internet access, Wyndham’s signature Be Well bedding, and private balconies in most rooms. Bathrooms feature granite surfaces and frameless glass shower enclosures with rainfall showerheads. The resort also features two on-site restaurants and three lounges, a 24-hour, fully equipped health and fitness center, a 24-hour business center, valet parking and concierge services.

Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort is located two miles from Boca Raton and 15 minutes from Fort Lauderdale International Airport, near beaches, American Airlines Arena, Sun Life Stadium, Festival Flea Market Mall, Sawgrass Mills Outlet Mall and The Town Center at Boca Raton. Fishing is available off the Deerfield Beach Historic Pier. Daily sea turtle feedings are conducted at the nearby Gumbo Limo Nature Center and Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge features wildlife.
