Wyndham Brand Poised to Expand in China

The Wyndham Hotels and Resorts brand is scheduled to make its debut in the Asia Pacific region during the fourth quarter of 2008 with the opening of a newly constructed, 609-room luxury hotel in China’s Xiamen, Fujian province: the Wyndham Xiamen Hotel. The hotel will have a lounge, fitness room, sauna, pool, meeting space and three full-service restaurants.

The company has also announced the Wyndham Baolian Hotel, a new 337-room, 15-story luxury hotel in Shanghai, scheduled to open in April 2010. The hotel will have a lobby lounge, nightclub, swimming pool, business center, meeting space, four full-service restaurants, two bars, and the Wyndham Blue Harmony spa and fitness center.
