Regent to Open Its First Hotel in the UAE in 2010

Regent Hotels and Resorts has announced plans to expand its portfolio of luxury hotels with the opening of The Regent Emirates Pearl in Abu Dhabi in 2010. The hotel will have 365 rooms and 70 furnished apartments housed in a 47-story glass building designed by Austrian award-winning architect Dennis Lems. The hotel will be on the southwest of the city's signature Comiche. The hotel will offer six restaurants, including one on an island connected to the hotel, two lounges, four bars and a rooftop deck. The hotel will also have an exclusive beach club with private beach access, indoor and outdoor pools, a health club and a luxury spa.
