Aloha Poised to Exit Bankruptcy

Aloha Airlines is poised to exit bankruptcy protection by mid-month. The carrier has received federal bankruptcy court approval of modifications it made to its reorganization plan. Aloha is hopeful it will have its new funding by mid-February, says David Banmiller, Aloha's president and CEO. Under the modified plan, the carrier will exit bankruptcy with $63 million in equity and very little debt, Banmiller adds.
