Aloha Upgrades Inter-Island Fleet

March 21, 2006 By: David Moseder Travel Agent

Aloha Airlines plans to replace four Boeing 737-200 inter-island passenger planes over the next few months. The first of the passenger jets will join Aloha's fleet in April. The newer passenger planes will arrive with 127 seats in all-coach configuration and boast brand-new interiors with comfortable all-leather seats. The aircraft are expected to be in service this summer. The newer planes will replace aircraft whose leases are expiring. Aloha also operates eight Boeing 737-700s on trans-Pacific routes. In addition to bringing in newer aircraft, Aloha is making inter-island flying more convenient with its newly reopened Drive-Thru Check-in lane on the fourth floor of the Inter-Island Terminal at Honolulu Airport.
