American Eagle Adds Alexandria, LA Flights

June 26, 2006 By: Susan Young Travel Agent

American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will add nonstop service between Alexandria International Airport in Louisiana and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, beginning Dec. 14, 2006. American Eagle will operate three daily roundtrip flights between the cities using 34-seat Saab 340 turboprop aircraft. The airline said the new service builds on the regional carrier's success with its service launches earlier this year in Lafayette and Monroe, LA. Alexandria's airport in the central part of Louisiana serves primarily travelers from the cities of Alexandria and Pineville.
