AmEx and Delta Unveil PowerStop Business Center

American Express has unveiled a state-of-the-art business center at LaGuardia's Marine Air Terminal for business travelers who are traveling on the Delta Shuttle. PowerStop was created with the comfort and convenience of business travelers in mind, providing such amenities as wireless high-speed Internet access throughout the terminal; connection to 10 work stations equipped with power outlets for easy workspace access; four Apple iMac personal computers for quick and secure Internet access; copy and fax machines; and a VIP lounge and conference room for last-minute meetings and calls. Erich Franken, vice president, airline industry, American Express Establishment Services, says, "Our development of PowerStop with Delta is a reflection of our innovative partnership and will provide our mutual customers with a unique traveling experience." Joanne Smith, Delta's vice president of marketing, says, "This is Delta's and American Express' first co-branded space and another example of our expanding partnership and commitment to make travel more convenient for our joint customers." In addition to PowerStop, the gate area will also be upgraded with new furniture and a complimentary magazine rack to provide additional comfort and convenience for passengers waiting to board their flight.
