ATA Beefs Up Hawaii Lift in '07

ATA is increasing its service between the West Coast and Hawaii in the new year. The carrier is adding thrice-weekly flights between Oakland and Kona (KOA) on the Big Island on June 14, 2007. The following day, it begins nonstops four times a week between Oakland (OAK) and Lihue, Kauai (LIH). That day also brings the start of daily flights between Las Vegas (LAS) and Kahului, Maui (OGG). The carrier also is boosting the frequency of its flights between Oakland and Honolulu (HNL) that day. Earlier this year, ATA launched flights between Oakland and several Hawaii destinations, including Hilo (ITO), also on the Big Island, as well as nonstops between Ontario (ONT) and Honolulu.
