February 14, 2007 By: Camie Foster Travel Agent

China Southern Airlines has major plans for growth this year, with new routes to such destinations as Cambodia, India, Japan, Laos, Nigeria, the United Arab Emirates and Nigeria. The news is especially noteworthy, says Si Xian Min, president of the carrier, because it is the first increase of such magnitude from Baiyun International Airport and also is China Southern's largest-scale expansion of routes within the span of a single year. The carrier also will become a full member of the SkyTeam Alliance during the second half of 2007. Visit [].
