Continental Targets May for Return to Pre-Katrina Levels

Continental Airlines says that by May it will have returned to its pre-Katrina departure frequency of 111 flights a week from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. The carrier says it has restored seat capacity at the airport to 86 percent already, spread among 99 departures a week, which it says constitute about 20 percent of the seats in the market. When the new flights are in place, seat capacity will be at 94 percent of its local pre-Katrina capacity. Visit [www.continental.com].
