Emirates Will Fly JFK-Hamburg-Dubai

Emirates will introduce a new service between New York's John F. Kennedy Airport and Dubai via Hamburg on October 29 this year. This service increases Emirates' flights to Dubai to three times a day, and increases capacity on its recently launched Hamburg-to-Dubai service. Emirates launched services from JFK in June 2004 and increased its service to twice daily in November 2005. The airline also launched a daily service from Hamburg to Dubai in March of this year. Emirates said there is such high demand for Emirates' services from JFK that the airline is now able to offer increased flights to Dubai. Emirates will operate a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in three-class configuration on the New York-Hamburg-Dubai route, with 12 seats in first, 42 in business and 310 in economy. The use of the 777-300ER on this route also offers a significant increase in passenger and cargo capacity to Emirates on the Hamburg to Dubai route, which previously was operated by an A330-200.
