Park Inn, the mid-market hotel brand operated by The Rezidor Hotel Group, has secured its own aircraft through a partnership with German carrier Germanwings. The 142-seat plane features the red, blue, yellow and green mosaic, traditional to Park Inn properties and will be part of the Germanwings fleet for three years. The inaugural flight of the Park Inn Airbus was to Cologne, Germany, where its official christening will take place on May 29. After that, the aircraft will fly to 66 destinations throughout Europe, to cities where Park Inn hotels are located such as St. Petersburg, Russia; Stockholm, Sweden; Berlin, Germany; and London, England.
