Second Non-Stop Flight in Works, Says Emirates

NEW YORK–Emirates airlines is going to announce its second non-stop flight between the U.S. and Dubai within the next three weeks, according to Nigel Page, senior vice president, commercial operations for Emirates. Page made his remarks at a luncheon to herald the airline's new nonstop Hamburg-to-New York flight at the Friar's Club in New York, although the executive would not reveal the origin city in the U.S. Emirates began New York-to-Hamburg flights Sunday. The inaugural flight arrived at John F. Kennedy at 5:30 p.m. Sunday from Hamburg and began its return flight at 11:15 p.m.
