Silverjet to Expand Service

Silverjet, the British all-business class airline that launched in January with one daily flight from London's Luton to NYC-Newark, announced on Monday that it is acquiring two long-haul aircraft for which 30 routes are being considered, and that it will start a second daily flight on its Luton-Newark route in late July. The two new planes will be delivered in March 2008. The first flight from Luton departs at 10 a.m. and arrives at 1 p.m.; the return flight from Newark departs at 7:30 p.m. and arrives Luton at 7:20 a.m. The second flight will depart Luton at 4:45 p.m., and arrive at Newark at 7:45 p.m.; it will leave Newark 9:45 p.m. and arrive at Luton at 9:45 a.m.
